All of the pupils at Crown Primary get a chance to use and work in the new garden, but we are also keen to ensure that as many parents, carers and families as possible get a chance to be involved. This doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming and we've listed a few of the ways that you might like to get involved.
- Plant a few extra vegetable seeds in pots or containers so that they'll be ready for planting outdoors from the end of April.
- Spring clean your garden shed and let us know if you have any surplus equipment, compost or seeds. If you're in any doubt about it's usefulness, please leave a message for the 'garden team' at the school office, or via the contact page above and we'll get back to you.
- Consider donating a new item of garden equipment / bird feeder / gardening gloves; no matter how small your donation will be much appreciated.
- Come along to help with the planting, or other tasks that need done around the garden. There is always plenty to do, so get in touch by dropping into the office in the school or keep checking the blog for updates.
